More often than not I am finding once you try and capture the spirit of something – something that seems quite important, in a minor major devil in the detail kind of way – in any kind of transformative art, it just doesn’t do the moment(s) and connection(s) your exertions are attempting to capture. Here is a hedge. Taken out the window of a moving car, so you can’t see the full glory of it alas. I want to shake the person’s hand who made this masterwork. I think that they were not thinking about context too much. Just about making the hedge of their dreams.
